Customer Service: Retail Plants

Our retail department is looking for someone who is knowledge able about gardening in the central New Jersey area. The ideal candidate will be familiar with plants, and will have experience with identifying and troubleshooting plant problems. They will have to work in various conditions, as this will be an out door job. In addition, the ideal candidate will enjoy being on their feet all day, and is able to assist with the stocking and maintenance of all the plants both in the greenhouse and other retail areas. It would be great if the ideal candidate has a master gardener certificate or other type of horticultural certification.

Potting Bench Designer: Potting Bench

FT Weekdays & Weekends Schedule will vary (can start as early as 8:00 am and end as late as 7:30)

If you have a knack for design and enjoy working with plants then this is the job for you. The Barlow potting bench designs and creates thousands of container gardens each year. You will be apart of this team that creates these gardens. Plant knowledge and good customer service is important. You will be working customers, helping them pick the correct plants for their pots and then plant these containers.

Driver: Deliveries

FT Weekdays & Weekends Schedule will vary (can start as early as 8:00 am or end as late as 7:30 pm)

If you are interested in bring gifts and plants to people’s homes throughout the holiday season, then this is the job for you. The job includes driving a cargo van to deliver items. The job may also include assisting with off sight jobs. In being the driver, you may also be required to do pickups of product. When there are no deliveries, the job may include some other tasks on the farm. The job requires a clean driving record and you must be 18 years or older.

1 PT Position 20-30 hrs starting April 23rd with an anticipated end date of June 30th.

Customer Service: Sales Associate

FT/PT Weekdays & Weekends Schedule will vary (can start as early as 8:30 am and end as late as 7:30p.m.)

If you are interested in working with customers and our register system, then this is the job for you. Tasks will include but are not limited to working on a cash register, straightening work area, up selling and assisting customers.
